XL Black Clay Skull, Mexico

Black Clay, or Barro Negro, is a traditional Zapotec art, from Oaxaca, Mexico. The clay is dried in the sun and burnished with a smooth stone. The pottery is then fired, producing the black color. Each XL skull is unique. 8 inches x 6.50 inches.
